2/23/2009 - BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Anyone who's ever wanted the opportunity to recruit sharp individuals into the Air Force as an Air Force recruiter, or mold civilians into Airmen as an Air Force military training instructor should look to the Air Education and Training Command Special Duty Assignments Team for information about these careers.
The team will visit Buckley Feb. 27 from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Bldg. 606 auditorium to cover all aspects of Air Force special duty opportunities. Spouses are highly encouraged to attend.
Senior Airmen with at least 35 months time in service through master sergeants with less than 16 years total active federal military service are invited to attend the briefing and may be eligible to apply for these special duty assignments. The team can expedite the processing of an applicant's special duty application if they bring it with them to the briefing.
To obtain a copy of the AETC special duty application, contact Senior Master Sgt. Robert McGinn, the Buckley career assistance advisor, at 720-847-6933.
