10/16/2012 - BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- The 460th Space Wing Public Affairs Office is hosting a story contest themed "Why Do You Donate?" The contest will run through Nov. 20 when the winners are selected. The stories can be any length and cover any reason why you choose to give to the charity of your choice through the Combined Federal Campaign.
The prizes include a day pass, a coin from Col. Dan Dant, 460th SW commander, and a coin from Chief Master Sgt. William Ward, 460th SW command chief. There will be one winner and two honorable mentions. Submit your story to the PA office via email at 460SW.Photo@us.af.mil. PA will post all stories, which may be subjected to editing, on the Buckley website. The authors will still receive credit.
Winners must be military members or appropriated fund civilians to receive prizes, but all can share their stories about why they donate.
