COLONEL TREVOR A. WENTLANDT

Colonel Trevor A. Wentlandt is the commander of the 460th
Mission Support Group, Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado. He
leads a diverse group of 850 Airmen, civilian, NAF and contract
employees responsible for providing force protection, quality of
life, human resources, contracting, logistics, environmental
stewardship and base infrastructure for the 460th Space Wing,
93 tenant organizations and more than 14,000 people working
and living on the Buckley Air Force Base installation.
Prior to assuming his current position, Colonel Wentlandt served
as the National Reconnaissance Office’s Senior Field
Representative to U.S. Strategic Command. In this role, he
advised the USSTRATCOM commander and senior staff on

national space system matters. Colonel Wentlandt received his commission through the U.S. Air Force Officer Training School in 1994. He is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Weapons School. During Operation Iraqi Freedom, he deployed with the U.S. Marine Corps in support of combat operations in the Al Anbar Province of Iraq.
