In the corner you can see the familiar shape of sage boots. During regular duty hours you can find Airman 1st Class Kayla Jaramillo, an aerospace medical technician at the Buckley Air Force Base Colfax Clinic, in Aurora, Colorado, checking in patients and performing basic medical treatments.

  • Flooding in dorms reveals Buckley’s mission readiness

    Recent flooding in the Patriot Dorm which affected over a hundred service members, displayed Buckley Air Force Base’s ability to respond and manage a multifaceted situation in a rapid manner March 2, 2018, on Buckley AFB, Colorado. At around 6pm on March 1, 2018, a water main rupture in Patriot Dorm caused severe flooding in half the building.

  • 460th Space Wing Wins 2017 Omaha Trophy

    BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. — For the second time in three years, the 460th Space Wing at Buckley Air Force Base has been awarded the Omaha Trophy Feb. 27, 2018. The Omaha Trophy is awarded to five wings across the Air Force in recognition of mission excellence. Buckley AFB is being recognized for its excellence in global operations, which includes space and cyberspace operations.
  • Team Buckley youth gain valuable insight

    Buckley Air Force Base Youth Programs, a military affiliated Boys and Girls Club of America, held a Lock-In event Jan. 12, 2018, as part of a Keystone Club national project. The Keystone Club is a leadership group just for teens aged 14-18 years old. It affords teens an opportunity to gain valuable leadership and service experience. They conduct activities in three areas: academic success, career exploration and community service.
